Location: Great World City
Key Responsibilities:
In charge of assigned kitchen station and responsible for all dishes prepared within the section (mainly light/local cooking)
Coordinate food preparation, stock usage, and quality control for the assigned station
Ensure all set-ups for daily operations are properly prepared and ready for service
Supervise Demi Chef and kitchen assistants to ensure duties are completed according to standards
Ensure station is well-organised, food is prepared on time, and work area is clean and efficient
Assist in preparing and cooking local dishes with consistency in taste and presentation
Rotate between different stations when required to support operations and gain exposure
Constantly check food quality, including taste, temperature, and presentation standards
Maintain portion control based on recipes to minimise wastage and ensure consistency
Ensure smooth and effective communication within the kitchen team during operations
Assist in receiving and checking of stocks to ensure accuracy and quality
Ensure proper use and basic maintenance of kitchen equipment, reporting any issues when required
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across workstations, equipment, and kitchen environment
Adhere to food safety standards and company policies at all times
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of relevant kitchen experience
Familiarity with local cuisine or casual dining concepts preferred
Basic culinary skills and understanding of kitchen operations
Team player with good communication and time management skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
