Job Title: In-Process Quality Control Inspector

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports to: Quality Assurance Engineer

DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Summary: Performs assessment, documentation and organization tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s supply chain.

Duties and responsibilities include:-

• Inspecting output samples using approved methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality.
• To determine drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations and set-up requirements.
• Checking the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures complying with legal requirements.
• Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing data into quality database.
• Train and guide production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
• Proposing improvements to the production process.
• Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and feedback on non-conformance parts.
• Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
• Using gauges such as calipers, and micrometers to measure products.
• Collecting and compiling statistical quality data to measure error rates.
• Assisting in the development of test methods and inspection plans.

Qualifications and required skills:

• 2 – 3 years experience in Quality Control/Assurance inspection work related in Manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge on MS Office Word and Excel
• A keen eye for detail and defective parts
• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing or Certification of Quality Control (ISO 9000 etc)
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Dependability – follow and responds to instructions

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
