Job Summary
You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly and testing tasks in a clean room environment, ensuring product quality and inventory accuracy while supporting production and packaging processes.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components following detailed Assembly Process Sheets to meet quality standards
- Clean and assemble lenses according to specific customer requirements to ensure product clarity and performance
- Adhere strictly to clean room protocols to maintain a contaminant-free production environment
- Conduct electrical and electronic tests based on Test Instructions to verify product functionality
- Reconcile work-in-progress (WIP) inventory with system records to maintain accurate production tracking
- Receive kitting materials from stores and distribute them accurately to production orders to support workflow
- Package finished products carefully before transferring them to storage for shipment, ensuring protection and compliance
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by leaders or supervisors to support team and production goals
Required competencies and certifications
- Ability to perform electrical testing to verify product quality and function
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics to understand circuit layouts and testing requirements
- Ability to understand and follow test instructions accurately to ensure consistent testing outcomes
- Capacity to work under minimal supervision to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts as required to support production schedules
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- GCE ’O’ Level or Technical Certificate and above as educational background
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical assembly demonstrating proficiency and reliability
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
