Position Overview
A Project Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems (from 380V up to 400kV) and components to the required specifications, focusing on safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. The role involves a blend of technical expertise, project management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for various sectors such as construction, manufacturing, energy, and technology.
Main Responsibilities
Qualifications and Experience
Hong Kong SAR citizen or with relevant Hong Kong SAR working permit
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
Proven experience in communication and control system of electrical system is highly preferred
Familiarity with local and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in office applications, CAD software and other engineering tools, e.g. tool software for main stream protection relay and RTUs
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and client interactions.
Skills and Competencies
Technical expertise in electrical systems and components, power system protection, communication, RTU.
Project management and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
Creativity and innovation in designing efficient solutions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Adaptability to changing project requirements and technologies.
Willing to travel (Overseas, China, Macau) for project execution.
Proficient in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English.
Typical Work Environment
Electrical Engineers may work in offices, laboratories, construction sites, or manufacturing facilities. The role may require occasional travel to project locations, client meetings, or supplier facilities. Adherence to safety protocols is essential, especially when working onsite or with high-voltage equipment.
Our main hub is the Guangzhou office, where employees must attend when in Guangzhou. In Hong Kong, staffs work remotely or at client sites.
Hong Kong citizens living in Great Bay Area is welcomed. Accommodation allowance will be granted when serving Hong Kong.
