Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Software Development & Consultancy
• Position Title: Mechatronics Engineer
• Working Location: Islandwide (Office at Bukit Merah, Central)
• Working Hours: 5 days, Monday – Friday (9am – 6pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Transport Benefits + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support or lead installation, commissioning, and system integration works.
• Perform maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating complex cases when required.
• Assist in the design and improvement of automation and control systems.
• Program and modify PLC and HMI systems.
• Provide on-site technical support for project assignments.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Lead projects, including planning, scheduling, and quality control.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical systems, automation, sensors, and PLC programming.
• Able to travel for site-based assignments when required.
• Able to work overtime when required, particularly for troubleshooting matters.
