Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure/Network solution architect tojoin our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing theimplementation of robust, scalable, and secure network and infrastructure solutions that support ourorganization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in networkarchitecture, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems, combined with the ability to translatecomplex business requirements into resilient technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable system architectures that meet performance, reliability, andsecurity requirements

• Design and optimize SQL database schemas, queries, and data models for efficient data storageand retrieval

• Develop high-level and low-level design documents, network diagrams, and architecturedesigns.

• Define and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices acrossinfrastructure domains.

• Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and cloud platforms aligned with business andtechnical requirements.

• Architect and oversee deployment of on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructuresolutions.

• Design and manage network security frameworks including firewalls and zero trust networkaccess.

• Lead the design of high-availability and disaster recovery solutions to meet business continuityrequirements.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and engineering teams to gather andtranslate requirements into technical solutions.

• Ensure all designs comply with internal governance policies, regulatory requirements, andindustry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2).

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure and network engineering teams.

• Lead and support the delivery of infrastructure projects from start to finish.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation stregies throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements and Skills

• Have experience in using Infrastructure-as-code such as terraform, ansible or similar toprovision cloud resources

• Deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols

• Proficiency in network security design including firewall rule management

• Knowledge in data centre technologies including storage networking and virtualisation.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulatecomplex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured approach to design.

• Demonstrate leadership and the ability to influence without direct authority.

• Highly collaborative with a team-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.
