Job Description
Prepare and produce a wide range of desserts, pastries, cakes, breads, and baked goods according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
Accurately measure, mix, and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, ovens, and other pastry equipment.
Assist in the preparation of pastry doughs, batters, fillings, creams, and other dessert components.
Decorate, garnish, and present finished desserts and pastries to meet the restaurant’s presentation standards.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products in accordance with food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and workstations throughout the shift.
Clean and restock workstations, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for the next shift.
Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and inform the Pastry Chef when supplies are running low.
Assist in developing new dessert items and seasonal pastry offerings when required.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service of desserts during service hours.
