Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and motivated Project Assistant to support Managing Director in Operations & Sales for Singapore elevator/lift projects by assisting in quotations, coordination, documentation, logistics, and site activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotations, tenders, and sales documents to support project acquisition efforts
- Provide administrative support to the Operations & Sales Department to maintain smooth workflow
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and site personnel to facilitate project progress
- Assist in scheduling projects and coordinating site activities to meet deadlines effectively
- Manage logistics, shipping, and delivery arrangements to ensure timely availability of materials
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records for compliance and future reference
- Support project submissions and coordination to fulfill client and regulatory requirements
- Monitor day-to-day operations and project status to ensure timely completion
- Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Management to support evolving business needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
- Experience in construction, engineering, or elevator/lift industry is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to produce reports and correspondence
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (ACAD) preferred for understanding technical drawings
- Ability to interpret shop drawings and as-built drawings at construction sites
- Knowledge of project coordination and documentation practices
- Experience handling quotations and customer communications
- Familiarity with Singapore construction site practices
- Ability to read technical drawings and project plans
- Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate multiple parties and manage timelines
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently
