Job Summary
You will support the culinary team by following instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to complete assigned pastry and bakery tasks efficiently and safely, maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.

Responsibilities
- Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to complete pastry and bakery tasks accurately and on time
- Adapt work schedule to meet business needs, including working any day of the week and any shift
- Focus on completing one task before moving to the next to ensure quality and efficiency
- Complete assigned work lists within acceptable time frames
- Participate actively in company trainings to improve skills and align with company philosophy
- Work calmly and efficiently while fostering positive working relationships within the culinary, pastry, and bakery teams
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and take pride in producing high-quality products for guests
- Adhere to company policies and statutory requirements related to health, safety, sanitation, and fire procedures
- Report maintenance defects promptly to culinary management using proper procedures
- Maintain high grooming standards for self and subordinates to ensure professional customer interactions, especially in public hotel areas
- Report to work punctually according to culinary department schedules and notify absences or sickness following correct procedures
- Identify different kinds and categories of raw materials to support proper food preparation
- Differentiate various types of cuisines to assist in appropriate preparation techniques
- Apply basic cooking and sanitation knowledge to maintain food safety and quality
- Monitor basic cooking preparation techniques and proper knife usage to ensure safety and efficiency
- Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance at all times
- Willingness and ability to work shift schedules as required
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a pastry or bakery professional
