Job Summary

The Construction Supervisor will oversee daily site activities, manage manpower and materials, ensure safety compliance, coordinate with stakeholders, and report progress to support successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities to maintain workflow and meet project deadlines
• Monitor workers’ performance and work progress to ensure quality and efficiency
• Carry and shift materials on site to support ongoing construction tasks
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and project specifications to maintain a safe work environment
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to align site operations with project goals
• Conduct site inspections and promptly resolve on-site issues to minimize delays
• Prepare daily work reports and site progress updates for project tracking and communication
• Maintain proper housekeeping and a safe working environment on site to prevent accidents
• Manage manpower deployment and materials arrangement to optimize resource use and site productivity
• Work full-time, 44 hours weekly, including Sundays and public holidays as required by site demands

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision
• Knowledge of plastering, brickwork, painting, waterproofing, renovation, or general construction works
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate site works effectively
• Good communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently
• Possession of safety certificates is an advantage
