What You’ll Do:

• Support the planning and prioritisation of system initiatives, aligning with business and operational needs.
• Lead the delivery of system enhancements and upgrades, including requirements, implementation, testing, and stabilisation.
• Oversee daily operations of IT systems to ensure reliability, timely issue resolution, and service performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure quality delivery of system solutions and services.
• Support procurement activities, including scope definition, requirements gathering, capex approval and evaluation of vendor proposals.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and users to understand requirements and improve system usability and effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to organisational processes, including change management, cybersecurity, and audit requirements.
• Support resource planning and task prioritisation within the team to meet operational and project deliverables.
• Provide technical support and continuous improvement for enterprise GIS systems (ArcGIS Pro / ArcGIS Enterprise), including troubleshooting, enhancement, and optimisation.

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 8–10 years of relevant experience in enterprise application development, delivery, and support within a complex operational environment.
• Proven experience in leading projects or small teams, with the ability to drive delivery and performance across both operations and project initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in system implementation, upgrade, or enhancement across the full project lifecycle (from requirements to deployment and stabilisation).
• Strong technical background in software development, with hands-on experience in technologies such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, and relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Good understanding of IT governance practices, including security, risk management, change management, and audit requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage priorities, influence decisions, and guide teams in a dynamic environment.
• Prior experience or exposure to GIS technologies (e.g., Esri ArcGIS Pro / ArcGIS Enterprise) will be an advantage.
• Exposure to procurement-related activities, including requirements definition, vendor evaluation, and engagement, will be an advantage.
