Position: Purchasing Executive (Manufacturing)

• Location: Senai Airport City, 81400 Senai, Johor
• Department: Procurement
• Reports To: Director of Operations
• Salary Range: RM 4,000 – RM 6,000

Position Summary

The Purchasing Executive is responsible for sourcing and procurement of raw materials, consumables, and production-related supplies. This role ensures stable supply, quality compliance, and cost efficiency while managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders in a timely manner based on production plans and inventory requirements
• Develop, evaluate, and manage suppliers; maintain an approved vendor list and conduct periodic performance reviews
• Monitor material delivery schedules and resolve delays or quality issues with suppliers
• Conduct price negotiations and manage contracts to ensure cost efficiency
• Coordinate with Finance on invoice processing and payment matters
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation to ensure compliance

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry
• Experience in die-casting or metalworking industry is an added advantage
• Familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Basic Mandarin communication skills are required
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
