Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars.
• Conduct tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops and field excursions.
• Consultation with and supervision of students’ project/research work.
• Marking and assessment of student work, assignments, projects, tests and examinations.
• Review and moderate examination questions.
• Development and production of teaching and learning materials.
• Performing subject coordination duties.
• Conduct research projects relevant to teaching and/or subject area.
• Performing extra-curricular activities, including counselling for students and promotion/marketing of the academic programme.
• Perform administrative functions such as student attendance, invigilation, examinations, course evaluation and academic quality matters.
• Leadership role in educational activities within the academic unit and participation in various committees.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English, Linguistics, TESL, Education, or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of teaching experience or equivalent industry-related experience.
• Passionate in teaching and willing to go the extra mile to provide quality education to students.
• Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including effective use of IT technologies in teaching and learning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication skills and proficient in English.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
