About the role

This is a full-time IT Support role based in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, offering the opportunity to join the team at Light Layer Technology Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of Internet Data Center (IDC) technology solutions. As an IT Support (Data Center) professional, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the company's data center infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

• Handle faults and incidents involving GPU servers, CPU servers, network devices, and links based on business needs, ensuring rapid diagnosis and resolution. Respond to daily work orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Coordinate and manage on-site maintenance and repair tasks with vendors and network equipment providers.
• Respond promptly to incidents and track issue resolution.

What we're looking for

• Must be able to read and write in Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Eager to learn and work in a team-based environment
• Rotational shifts if required
• Strong interest in data center operations and IT infrastructure
• Relevant certifications in IT support, networking, or data center operations would be an advantage
