The IT Network Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, operation and security of the organization’s network infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage enterprise network operations including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and data center networking.
- Design, implement and maintain network architecture to ensure performance, scalability and resilience.
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN and network security controls.
- Ensure network compliance with security standards and certifications such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee monitoring, troubleshooting, incident and problem management for network services.
- Manage ISP links, redundancy, routing and bandwidth optimization.
- Lead network-related projects such as data center/campus expansion, office rollouts and technology refresh.
- Manage security to address vulnerabilities and implement security best practices.
- Manage vendors, service providers, maintenance contracts and SLAs.
- Prepare network capacity planning, risk assessments and technical documentation.
- Develop and enforce network policies, standards and operational procedures.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of data center infrastructure professionals.
- Collaborate with Operations Team (Technical & Automation) and business teams to ensure integrated solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in managing complex enterprise network infrastructure environment, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong hands-on experience with routing and switching, TCP/IP, VLANs and wireless technologies.
- Proven experience managing firewalls, VPNs and SD-WAN solutions.
- Experience supporting data center and critical facility networking environments.
- Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM tools.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Security or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent in problem solving and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to articulate and explain technical concepts to non-technical trained stakeholder.
