Design Engineer (Fire Protection & Detection Systems)

Join a specialised engineering firm focused on delivering advanced fire protection and detection solutions for marine and industrial applications. Be part of a technical team that supports full project lifecycles—from design and documentation to execution and commissioning.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Design Engineer to contribute to innovative system designs and ensure compliance with industry and classification standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop fire protection and detection systems (BOQ, calculations, datasheets, certificates, etc.) in accordance with marine classification requirements
• Support project execution and coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams
• Interpret technical proposals and engineering requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and design challenges during project execution
• Prepare and maintain proper project documentation and administrative records
• Work closely with stakeholders from project inception to completion

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fire protection and detection systems (marine or similar industry preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of PLC systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively

What We Offer

• Basic salary up to SGD 6,000
• HP allowance ($60)
• Performance bonus (up to ~3 months, based on track record)
• Dynamic and supportive working environment

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
