Responsibilities
1. Services import, export and local cargo orders from customers and key customer assigned.
2. Ensures that Job Sheets are accurately raised and completed in accordance to customers’
import and export job orders by updating OptEtruck (Portnet).
3. Coordinates inter-departmental services for customers’ request for loading and port
clearance/transportation/ warehousing services with the other divisions of the Group and
providing updates of job tracking/fulfillment to customers.
4. Updates all the charges/fees incurred in delivery of services to be borne by customers in the Job
Sheet for Finance to bill customers.
5. To cover for shipping documents/customer service department whenever there is staff on leave
or absent.
Job Contents / Activities:
• Handles all customer queries and job requests
• Raises Job Sheet for every new job order for import/export service.
• Liaison with shipping companies for Arrival Notice, Delivery Orders, container damage charges,
detention and washing container charges.
• Checking of Portnet for actual arrivals of vessels
• Arrange courier services for collection of documents, exchange of delivery orders.
• Coordinates with related departments/divisions for the fulfillment of customer’s job orders.
• Prepare jobs and trucking schedule for operation dept.
• Record all charges to be borne by customers on Job Sheet when job orders are completed for
billing purposes.
• Service recovery for customer’s complaint
