SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Roles& Responsibilities

• As part of a squad team, build robust solutions for workflow automation and data generation across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Project/Squad Leaders to understand product objectives and roadmaps, ensuring alignment and prioritization of development activities to meet project goals.
• Own and drive the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.

  Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.

  Develop and execute component, integration, and validation testing.

  Improve product maintainability and service reliability by identifying pain points and implementing enhancements.

  Support post-release maintenance, troubleshooting, and product enhancements.

  Create technical documentation, user guides, and process documentation.

• Analyze current processes and propose automation-driven improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing through documentation, mentoring, and training sessions.
• Develop Validation Test Plans (VTP) and implement validation strategies and best practices.
• Investigate validation failures, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues through source code optimization and system improvements.
• Support validation activities for large-scale enterprise systems and distributed applications.

Knowledge,Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering; preferably 7+ years.
• Proven hands-on experience with C# development, with strong expertise in building enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong experience in validation engineering, not limited to testing activities:

• Ability to develop Validation Test Plans (VTP).

  Hands-on experience identifying validation failures and resolving them through code improvements and optimization.

  Candidates with purely testing backgrounds will not be suitable.

• 5+ years of experience building maintainable and testable codebases, including:

• API design and development

  Unit and integration testing

  Front-end integration with technologies such as TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS (preferred)

• Mandatory experience with:

• WPF

  Windows/Web Services

  Desktop and Distributed Applications

• Strong experience working with relational databases such as Oracle Database or similar platforms, including the ability to perform production investigation queries and data analysis.
• Well-versed in writing readable, maintainable, scalable, and extendable code.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools, including Git, GitLab CI, and code quality platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in software validation automation.
• Experience validating and developing large-scale enterprise systems such as banking, insurance, PropTech, or similar mission-critical platforms will be highly preferred.
