The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of facility infrastructure and equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operations. This role supports both reactive and preventive maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and structural systems. The technician must adhere to safety protocols and work collaboratively with other departments to meet operational needs and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance
• Conduct scheduled inspections and servicing of equipment and systems
• Maintain and update maintenance logs and records in accordance with company standards.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs
• Diagnose and repair issues related to machinery, equipment, and building infrastructure.
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize disruption.
• Facility Support
• Perform general building maintenance tasks, such as plumbing and minor electrical work.
• Support setup and maintenance of facility layouts and office/workstation configurations.
• Equipment Installation
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Ensure installations comply with safety codes and manufacturer guidelines.
• Safety & Compliance
• Adhere to safety standards, building codes, and company procedures.
• Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions and participate in safety inspections and audits.
• Inventory & Documentation
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Record work completed, parts used, and time spent on tasks in maintenance management systems.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other departments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and recommendations.
• Continuous Improvement
• Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and systems.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
