What The Day Will Look Like
The role is focused on delivering data-driven insights for all consulting and flexible benefits projects. The Data Analyst will play a key role in:
- Transforming data into meaningful insights for Aon’s clients in the employee benefits sphere
- Supporting consulting project delivery for existing clients & prospects
- Data analysis, propose flex plan design, feasibility study and financial modelling
- Data Analytics & Insights
- Analyse client data (e.g., medical claims, workforce demographics) to generate actionable insights
- Support development of analytics outputs, dashboards, and client reports
- Assist in identifying trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for optimization
- Consulting Support
- Provide analytical and research support across client projects (e.g., benchmarking, benefits review, flexible benefits feasibility studies)
- Assist in developing proposals, presentations, and financial models
- Market Research & Benchmarking
- Participate in benchmarking analysis against market practices and industry norms
- Monitor trends in employee benefits, insurance, and health & wellness solutions
- Project Delivery & Execution
- Support execution of consulting engagements, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables
- Assist in coordinating project tasks, timelines, and stakeholder inputs
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (consulting, broking, analytics, regional teams) to deliver integrated solutions
- Support client servicing teams with data and analytical requests
- Build strong internal working relationships across functions
- Continuous Learning & Development
- Develop technical skills in data analytics, consulting methodologies, and employee benefits
- Maintain awareness of emerging tools, technologies, and industry developments
- Support compliance with internal policies and professional standards
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Finance, or related disciplines
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or entry-level experience in consulting, analytics, or insurance is an advantage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with data tools (e.g., Power BI, Python, SQL) is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
