Senior CNC Machinist - PARADIGM AEROSPACE SDN. BHD.

Roles & responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC milling machines or CNC Turn-mill, CNC Turning and Auto-lathe according to procedures, programs and engineering drawings to manufacture machined parts effectively and to specifications.
• Change cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed.
• Responsible in CNC machine setup for Junior level CNC machinists to help eliminate non-conformance and machine down time
• Setup and operate CNC Machines to produce part as per drawings and within specification
• Setup, operate and maintains measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures for inspections
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of work area at all time
• Able to train Machine Operators to operate CNC Machine
• Responsible for material wastage control, manufacturing cost reduction and compliance with safety requirements
• Identify root causes and corrective action to resolve production process and quality issues.
• Use prescribed procedures to inspect parts produced to assure compliance with specifications and quality requirements that will eliminate defects, scrap and rework.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition on a daily basis, report defective machine, equipment, materials and/ or faulty operations to superior.
• Able to perform troubleshooting and regular maintenance on CNC Machines.

REQUIREMENT

• Proven experience as a Machinist or CNC Technician at least 2-3 years
• Proficient in operating CNC milling and Lathe machines, with a strong
• understanding of G-code programming
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow established procedures and protocols
• Tertiary qualification in Machining Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Malaysians only
