Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute PPAP activities including drawing review, BOM verification, specification validation, manufacturability review, and technical risk assessment during RFQ and NPI stages.
- Define and establish manufacturing processes, process flow, routing sequence, manufacturing strategy, and process requirements based on customer drawings and product specifications.
- Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review to identify technical risks, tolerance concerns, dimensional conflicts, process limitations, material concerns, and potential manufacturing gaps before production release.
- Review and ensure customer drawings, specifications, notes, tolerances, material requirements, and critical features are accurately translated into manufacturing execution requirements.
- Support process development activities such as machining, thermoforming, welding, bonding, assembly, leak testing, and other fabrication processes.
- Maintain and govern NP MOM accuracy including process flow, routing, cycle time, setup requirements, material definition, tooling requirements, and manufacturing operation consistency.
- Support process-related troubleshooting and participate in MRB activities for NP-related quality or manufacturing issues to identify process flaws, gaps, escape points, and improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Production teams to ensure process readiness, manufacturability alignment, and smooth production execution.
- Govern and control NP MOM changes, process revisions, manufacturing updates, and process standardization activities in accordance with engineering and quality requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and improve quote quality checklists to strengthen RFQ accuracy, process definition quality, manufacturability review, and risk mitigation during quotation and NPI stages.
- Engage closely in material selection, process selection, manufacturing method definition, process parameter establishment, and technical feasibility evaluation for new and existing products.
- Generate and maintain process-related documentation including process parameter work instructions, OMS references, technical process standards, and manufacturing guidance documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with experience in manufacturing, NPI, semiconductor, precision engineering, or plastic fabrication environments are preferred.
- Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD for technical review, manufacturability evaluation, and process assessment.
- Detail-oriented with strong capability in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, BOMs, and manufacturing requirements accurately.
- Excellent analytical and process-thinking capability with strong understanding in manufacturing process definition, DFM evaluation, risk identification, and technical problem-solving.
