The Financial Coconut is a dynamic financial education and media platform dedicated to making personal finance accessible, engaging, and empowering for everyone. We produce a wide range of content and experiences - from live events and FireChat talks to vodcasts, podcasts, digital productions, and multimedia campaigns. Our mission is to help people achieve financial freedom through knowledge, community, and real-world action.

Overview

As our Project Manager, you are the "glue" that holds our productions together. You don’t need 10 years of corporate experience; you just need to be obsessively organised, a clear communicator, and someone who loves making sure things get done. This is a project-driven role where you’ll see the direct impact of your work every single day. If you enjoy turning "great ideas" into "finished projects," you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

• Keep Us on Track: Own the timelines for our podcasts, events, and client campaigns. You’ll make sure everyone knows what they’re doing and when it’s due.
• Be the Central Hub: Act as the main point of contact between our creative team, external vendors, and clients to keep communication smooth.
• Event Support: Help us bring our "FireChat" talks and live events to life by managing logistics, bookings, and on-the-day coordination.
• Master the Tools: Use tools like Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace to keep our project trackers updated so nothing falls through the cracks.
• Solve Puzzles: When a deadline shifts or a technical glitch happens, you’re the person who stays calm and finds a way forward.

Who You Are

• The Organiser: You’re the friend who plans the group trips. You love a clean spreadsheet or a well-organized Notion board.
• The Communicator: You can write a clear email and aren't afraid to hop on a quick call to clear up a misunderstanding.
• The Doer: You have 3 years of experience in coordination, events, or admin (media/agency experience is a bonus!).
• The Tech-Savvy Learner: You’re comfortable with digital tools and pick up new software quickly.
• The Enthusiast: You have an interest in personal finance or digital media (or you’re at least curious to learn!).
