Conduct safety inspections, safety patrols, and intervention of unsafe conditions and unsafe acts to correct the hazardous conditions in the workplace.
Conduct toolbox meetings and safety induction.
Ensure the provisions of the act and any regulation (OSHA 1994 and FMA 1967) made there under are complied with.
Promote safe conduct of work, ensure personal protective equipment is worn and rectify hazardous construction methods.
Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
Ensure that all accidents are reported, documented, investigated and recommended improvement actions.
Implement safety activities according to the required Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) and ISO standards.
To perform any other duties as and when required by the superior and/or Management.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of work experience in construction industry
Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Safety and Health or related qualification.
Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Competency License registered with DOSH / JKKP (Yellow book).
Having experience dealing with relevant authorities.
