What Will You Do?

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized procurement officer to oversee purchases of the Group with concentration in the Procurement Department. In this position, you will play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for the organization. You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory, and be responsible for approving purchases.

• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
• Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
• Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development

Who Are We Looking For?

To successfully fill this role, you will have the right attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field in Hotel, resort or F&B chain.
• A balance between a methodical and process-driven approach together with flexibility and creativity when it comes to meeting deadlines and finding solutions.
• Strong negotiation, communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal and influencing skills.
• You have eagle eyes when it comes to details.
• You want to be part of the team that works hard, supports each other and has laugh along the way.

Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month
