A. Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the implementation of ISO 45001:2018 safety protocols for all mechanical and electrical activities on-site.

2. Assist the M&E Coordinator in conducting regular quality checks on mechanical and electrical work to verify that it meets project specifications and regulatory requirements together with ISO 9001:2015.

3. Assist the M&E Coordinator in managing the daily operations of mechanical and electrical systems installations, maintenance, and commissioning activities.

4. Ensure that M&E work is progressing according to schedule and resolve any issues that may arise, such as delays or discrepancies between design and construction.

5. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that M&E installations comply with the approved plans, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.

6. Maintain detailed records of quality checks, inspection reports, and testing results in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 documentation procedures.

7. To assist the M&E engineer to supervise all M&E construction works at the project site.

8. To supervise, monitor and control daily works at the project site and adhere to document control procedure.

9. To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s activities at project sites.

10. To maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices

11. To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.

12. To review and monitor site work productivity and arrange for resources as required.

13. To monitor the carrying out of inspection and tests by M&E sub-contractors as per “Inspection and Test Plans” and use all quality control mechanisms in the quality management system. Results of such to conform to specifications.

14. To submit sample materials and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval.

15. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

B. Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical.

2. Experience in construction (M&E) for minimum 3 years.

3. Experience in high rise building will be an advantage.

C. Authority

1. Authority to stop non-compliant or unsafe M&E works.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
