Position: Tourism Admin Executive
Department: Tourism & Hospitality
Location: Cameron Highlands
Reports to: Tourism Supervisor / Tourism Manager
Objective:
The Tourism Admin Executive is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Tourism Department to ensure smooth coordination of tourism activities, customer bookings, documentation, reporting, and overall visitor management.
Key Responsibilities:Administrative & Operational Support:
- Manage daily administrative tasks related to tourism operations and visitor management.
- Prepare and maintain tour schedules, booking records, reports, and operational documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external parties regarding tourism activities and arrangements.
- Assist in organizing tourism events, group visits, educational tours, and promotional activities.
- Monitor inventory and ensure tourism materials, brochures, and supplies are adequately maintained.
Customer Service & Booking Coordination:
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, social media, or walk-in visitors professionally.
- Process tour bookings, ticketing, reservations, and payment records accurately.
- Assist visitors with information regarding tourism packages, facilities, and company attractions.
- Ensure customer feedback and complaints are properly recorded and escalated when necessary.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for tourism operations and customer records.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to visitor statistics, sales, and tourism activities.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and promotional materials when required.
- Ensure all records are updated and stored in accordance with company procedures.
Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate schedules and arrangements for tour guides, transportation, and tourism activities.
- Support the Tourism Supervisor in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and business partners regarding tourism-related matters.
- Assist in communicating operational updates and instructions to tourism staff.
Compliance & Support:
- Ensure tourism operations comply with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
- Support the department during peak seasons, weekends, public holidays, and special events.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in administration, tourism, hospitality, or customer service.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an added advantage.
- Positive attitude with strong customer service orientation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
