About The Role

Legenda Bumimas Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified and experienced Chargeman A0/A1/A4 to support plant electrical operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting activities, and electrical system compliance within our industrial facility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, standby generators, switchboards, and plant equipment while maintaining compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and DOSH regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, test, and maintain electrical systems and plant equipment
• Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and equipment failures
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, machine breakdowns, and power trips
• Maintain and monitor LV Main Switchboards (LVMSB), LV Distribution Boards (LVDB), and standby generators
• Ensure compliance with Electricity Supply Act and safety regulations
• Conduct routine inspections and electrical testing activities
• Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures and workplace safety practices
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and utility authorities when required
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, logbooks, and electrical documentation
• Support plant improvement and maintenance initiatives

RequirementsQualification

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Valid Chargeman Certificate A0 / A1 / A4 issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in:
• Electrical maintenance
• Plant operations
• Industrial facilities
• Manufacturing or process industries

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge in low voltage electrical systems and switchboards
• Experience handling standby generators and synchronizing panels
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in electrical safety and compliance requirements
• Familiar with LOTO procedures and electrical hazard management
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to travel when required
