Job Title: Civil / Building Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Civil/Building Technician to support our engineering and construction teams in planning, designing, and executing building and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will assist in preparing technical drawings, conducting site inspections, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform civil and building maintenance including minor repairs, patching, painting, plastering, tiling, and carpentry tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of building structures, roofing, flooring, walls, ceilings, and external areas.
• Repair door hinges, locks, skirting, windows, partitions, and fixtures.
• Monitor building conditions and report defects such as cracks, leaks, or structural issues.
• Support maintenance works for drainage, pavement, fencing, and other civil components.
• Assist in preparing building condition reports and defect logs according to JKR formats.
• Ensure all civil works follow JKR guidelines and safety standards.
• Assist during JKR audits, inspections, and technical assessments.
• Respond to urgent repair works and facility emergencies.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate in Civil/Building Technology or related field (SKM/Tvet accepted).
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in civil/building maintenance.
• Physically fit and willing to handle hands-on repair works.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
