About the role
Seeking for a talented and experienced Account Executive to join our team. Based in Penampang, Sabah, this full-time role will be responsible for a variety of accounting and reporting duties.
What you'll be doing
Performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, cash management and reconciliations.
Liaise with auditors and tax agents for financial and compliance matters.
Preparing and issuing customer invoices and e-Invoices in compliance with LHDN requirements.
Managing accounts payable and ensuring timely payments to suppliers, hotels, and service providers.
Monitoring accounts receivable and following up on outstanding customer payments.
Performing daily bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash flow records.
Assisting in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Coordinating with operations and sales departments regarding billing, payments, and financial matters.
What we're looking for
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Familiarity with Malaysian e-Invoice requirements and accounting regulations is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SQL Account etc.
Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Positive attitude and ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
