Requirements

• Degree holder in Electronics Engineering.
• Strong interest in motor vehicle engineering and design.
• Passionate about modernisation of automotive advanced driver aids, electronic controlled systems, creature comforts & conveniences.
• Experienced at designing & producing small volume PCB’s, from printing, populating, assembling, and programming.
• Experienced at programming microprocessors.
• Experienced & passionate at integrating components, technologies & systems including control systems such as touch screens and capacitive switches.
• Experienced at reading circuit & wiring diagrams.
• Experienced at diagnosing electrical problems with and without diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent technical knowledge of modern automotive electrical systems, components, CAN & LIN BUS systems.
• Experienced fundamental & practical skills: soldering, wiring, crimping, insulating & trouble shooting.
• Experienced at designing new wiring circuits with switches, relays, fuses etc
• Experienced at documenting designs, improvements, design changes & process for repeatability
• Excellent understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems.
• Creative approach to problem solving.
• Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• High level of integrity, responsibility, initiative, team spirit, drive and commitment.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Mission

Job Description

Typical duties of this role will include:

• Define targets and conduct R&D as driven by design requirements.
• Manage all related drawings and documentation.
• Support and supervise the electrical wiring department and ensure electrical system performance and quality targets are met.
• Any other electronic engineering tasks.
• Electronic Engineering department housekeeping.

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years working experience preferably in automotive electronics.
