Job Summary:

We are looking for a Performance Tester with strong hands-on experience in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner or IBM Rational Performance Tester to join our team within the telecommunications (Telco) domain.

In this role, you will be responsible for performance testing, load testing, stress testing, and system optimization to ensure applications can handle high traffic and remain stable under peak conditions.

This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in large-scale systems, system integration, and backend/API performance testing, who is able to work independently and proactively identify performance issues.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance testing strategies including load testing, stress testing, and endurance testing
• Perform JMeter performance testing (test plans, scripting, parameterization, correlation)
• Analyze system performance to identify bottlenecks in CPU, memory, database, network, and APIs
• Conduct API performance testing (REST/SOAP) and validate system scalability
• Establish and validate performance benchmarks and SLAs
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to improve system performance
• Prepare detailed performance test reports, analysis, and recommendations
• Execute performance testing for integrated systems, middleware, databases, and third-party services
• Support integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Performance Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter in real-world projects
• Experience working in Telco, enterprise systems, or large-scale integrated environments
• Proven experience in API performance testing and backend system validation
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills

Skills:

Strong expertise in:

Apache JMeter (advanced scripting, correlation, parameterization) / LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis) / IBM Rational Performance Tester

Solid understanding of:

• HTTP/HTTPS protocols
• Web application performance testing
• REST & SOAP API testing
Middleware and backend systems

Experience with:

• Performance monitoring & APM tools
• CI/CD integration for performance testing
• Scripting languages (Groovy, Python, Shell)

Preferred Certifications:

• ISTQB CTFL or equivalent certification.
• Experience in Agile and Scrum environments is a plus.
