Job Description

Senior System Analyst analyses, develops, implements and maintain complex information system to fulfil the organization’s demand. This function entails analysing current systems, coming up with ideas for improving productivity, efficiency and working to understand requirements together with clients.

Requirements & Stakeholders Management
1. To liaise between multi-disciplined teams comprising of Business, Project Management, Software Development, Third Party Partners etc.

2. To lead the meetings, workshops, demonstration, and review session between the project team members and stakeholders

3. To lead the communication between the team members and other stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and feedback loops.

Documentation
1. To develop Business Requirements Specification (BRS), Functional Specifications Document (FSD), Use Case, Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts, User Manual, and other relevant project documentation.

2. To update the document repository, ensuring that all project artifacts, documentation, and models are current and accessible.

Functional and Technical Analysis
1. To serve as a bridge between business users and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications.

2. To analyse the design of technical systems and business models.

3. To participant and contribute in the functional implementation of new business technology.

4. To participant in the sourcing of technological solutions to business requirements.

Training and Support
1. To provide training and support to end-users during the implementation phase and post-implementation support as needed.

2. To provide the knowledge transfer sessions to customers as well as internal staff.

Project Involvement and Continuous Improvement
1. To produce reports on application development and implementation.

2. To participate and contribute towards the company’s efforts in implementing good project management practices.

3. To utilize IT data for business insights and analysing business needs.

4. To analyse and identify the project issue and risk, with solution or mitigation action.

Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related study.

2. At least 3-5 years of working experience in related field.

3. Experience in Banking, Finance Service and Insurance domain is a must

4. Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Visio and PL/SQL

5. Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

7. Exposure of below technical domain and experience would be added advantage.

a. Java frameworks: Spring Boot, Ionic

b. Server technologies: Red Hat JBoss, Tomcat

c. Web technologies: Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, XML

d. Database technologies: Oracle, MySQL

e. Mobile application technologies: Flutter, Ionic

f. Clouds implementation with AWS / AliCloud / GCP

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
