We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Freight Assistant / Executive to support our daily freight and shipping operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating shipments, handling documentation, and working closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery of cargo.

Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Preferably 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation is an advantage
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all shipping activities, including booking arrangements, shipment scheduling, and shipping documentation
- Prepare and manage shipping documents such as Shipping Instruction (SI), Bill of Lading (BL), invoices, and related documents
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal departments for smooth shipment processing
- Monitor and follow up on daily shipment status to ensure timely resolution of issues or delays
- Ensure all import and export clearance documents are complete and accurate for smooth cargo delivery
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure cost-efficient and timely logistics arrangements
- Verify import/export billing and submit documents to Finance for payment processing
- Maintain and ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are updated and comply with guidelines
- Support cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth end-to-end shipment flow
- Perform any other duties or assignments as and when required

Working Hours
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Alternate Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
