Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance:

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment such as pumps, valves, motors, and machinery.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently and downtime is minimized.

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

• Identify mechanical issues by inspecting systems and equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components, using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Work on mechanical failures in accordance with standard operating procedures.

System Testing:

• Test mechanical systems and equipment after maintenance or installation to ensure they meet performance standards.
• Ensure all systems are functioning correctly and safely.

Blueprint and Technical Drawing Interpretation:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for the proper installation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Adjust components as needed to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

Equipment Calibration:

• Calibrate mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adjust settings and fine-tune machinery to maintain production efficiency.

Health, Safety, and Compliance:

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Provide reports on the condition of mechanical systems to management or supervisors.

Collaboration:

• Work with engineers, other technicians, and operators to resolve mechanical issues and improve operational processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

• A DIPLOMA in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a mechanical technician role, particularly in industries like manufacturing, construction, or healthcare.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machines, and equipment.
• Proficiency in using mechanical hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Location: Parit Buntar, Perak

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
