Are you a passionate DevOps Engineer with a leadership drive? We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer Manager to join our IT team and champion a culture of collaboration and automation!
You will play a key role in optimising our software development lifecycle by implementing and managing DevOps practices.
Core Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with development teams, fostering seamless integration of DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment of applications.
Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, managing infrastructure using configuration management tools for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Proactively identify and address potential issues through the setup and maintenance of monitoring and logging systems.
Integrate security best practices throughout the development and deployment processes, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and manage applications, optimise costs, and utilise cloud-native services.
Manage and support version control systems (e.g., Git), ensuring proper branching and merging strategies.
Utilise collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack) to enhance communication and collaboration within the development and operations teams.
Write scripts and code as necessary to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
Facilitate release planning, coordinate releases, and ensure a smooth transition from development to production.
Conduct capacity planning to ensure infrastructure can scale and meet evolving business demands.
What We Are Looking For In A Candidate
A proven DevOps Engineer, Developer, or a related role with leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
