EDA Industries Hiring! Full Time Process Engineer in Melaka - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Process Engineer, with a Quality Control background, to manage the implementation of new and existing products, including BOM creation, work instructions, trial runs, line setup, and sample submissions, while ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

The role provides technical support to production, coordinates with customers and internal teams, and drives continuous improvement to enhance quality, yield, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the new and existing products implementation
• New BOM and Work Instruction creation, trial run activities coordination, sample submission to customer and follow-up on the sample submission status
• Responsible for new line setup. The job includes jigs/fixtures readily prepared till complete buy-off for production release
• Responsible for the ECN issuance, coordinating and ensuring its implementation accurately
• Provide technical support to Production and communicate with customer on the technical part of the products
• Responsible for the FMEA and Control Plan creation and coordinate for the implementation
• Ensure customer specification is implemented to the product in manufacturing
• Liaise with Test Development Engineer on the new tester production. Liaise with internal team for new machine setup
• Maintain product specification. Perform Product/Process Validation during product development stage
• Participate to improvement activities to achieve process improvement, cost reduction and yield improvement
• Perform any other duties assigned by superior

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of Digital, Analog, mixed-signal circuits and Design for Test (DFT) principles
• Experience in electronic design and simulation (SPICE, LTspice, etc.)
• Familiarity with PCB layout tools and EDA (Electronic Design Automation) environments
• Good communication skills and fluency in English
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking and teamwork
• Proactive, adaptable and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment
