Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning meat, preparing sauces).
- Support daily kitchen preparation tasks and ensure stations are properly set up.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas.
- Store ingredients and food items properly (labeling, dating, FIFO).
- Assist in basic cooking tasks as directed by CDP or Sous Chef.
- Follow food safety standards and company SOPs.
- Assist in dishwashing or receiving stock when needed.
Requirements
- Some kitchen experience preferred, but fresh graduates or trainees are welcome.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
