Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Analog Circuit Design: Design and develop analog circuits such as voltage regulators, LDOs, high-speed and general-purpose I/O buffers, PLLs, and clocking circuits.
- Spice Simulation: Conduct comprehensive spice simulations to analyze circuit performance, including aging, variation, EOS (end-of-stress), and RV (random variation) coverage.
- RTL/Behavioral Model Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of RTL and behavioral modeling to effectively integrate analog circuits into digital systems.
- Timing Characterization: Utilize PrimeTime STA and SiliconSmart tools to characterize the timing behavior of analog circuits and ensure they meet performance requirements.
- Custom Layout: Demonstrate expertise in custom layout design, including floorplanning and critical/analog layout review.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in circuit design.
- Strong understanding of analog circuit design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in analog design tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler).
- Experience with spice simulation tools (e.g., HSPICE, Spectre).
- Knowledge of timing analysis tools (e.g., PrimeTime).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
