Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Patching Engineer to manage the end-to-end patch lifecycle for Windows & Linux environments. You will play a critical role in maintaining system security, stability, and compliance across our IT infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, deploy, and validate OS and application patches using WSUS, Canonical Landscape, and other enterprise tools
• Perform VMware snapshots, backups, and restorations before patching
• Use SCOM for daily system health monitoring
• Manage Incident, Service Request, and Change Request tickets via ServiceNow (ITIL process)
• Provide 24x7 rotating on-call support for patching emergencies and system failures
• Maintain patching SOPs, runbooks, and daily/weekly compliance reports

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of hands-on patching experience in Windows & Linux
• Basic understanding of virtualization (VMware) – nice to have
• Self-motivated, can-do attitude, able to work under pressure
• Fluent in English; Mandarin/Cantonese is a strong plus

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
