Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our digital platforms within the insurance domain. The role focuses on building and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available systems while enabling continuous delivery and operational excellence through DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment
- Drive end-to-end DevSecOps practices, ensuring security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle
- Manage and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of applications
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release processes
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory and security standards
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps / DevSecOps engineering
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end DevSecOps workflow, with scripting using Bash and/or Python
- Strong experience in managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure cloud environments
- Familiarity with Kubernetes commands, scripting, and cluster management
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud and application environments
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)
- Experience working in regulated environments (insurance/financial services) is an advantage
Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
