Job Summary
The IT & Facilities Executive is responsible for supporting the company’s daily IT operations, website-related matters, hardware and software troubleshooting, CCTV monitoring, asset management, and basic facilities maintenance to ensure smooth office and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities1. IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support for staff on IT-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic laptop, desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Install, update, and maintain software applications.
- Assist in resolving hardware and software problems.
- Set up computers, user accounts, emails, and related IT access for staff.
- Maintain and monitor office internet, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity.
2. Website & Email Support
- Manage and respond to emails received through the company website.
- Assist in maintaining, updating, and improving the company website.
- Upload or update website content when required.
- Coordinate with vendors or developers for advanced website issues.
- Monitor website forms, enquiries, and technical errors.
3. CCTV & Security System Support
- Monitor and maintain CCTV systems.
- Ensure CCTV cameras are functioning properly.
- Assist in retrieving CCTV footage when requested by management.
- Report any CCTV defects or technical issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors for CCTV servicing or repair when necessary.
4. Hardware, Software & System Maintenance
- Maintain office IT equipment including laptops, desktops, printers, routers, and related devices.
- Conduct regular checks on IT devices and systems.
- Keep records of IT issues, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Support the use of company systems, software, and digital tools.
- Ensure data and system security practices are followed.
5. Asset Management
- Maintain proper records of company assets and IT equipment.
- Tag, track, and update asset inventory.
- Monitor asset movement, assignment, return, and condition.
- Assist in preparing asset reports for management.
- Report damaged, missing, or faulty assets to the relevant department.
6. Facilities & Basic Maintenance Support
- Assist in basic office maintenance matters such as lighting, equipment, and minor technical issues.
- Check and report faulty lights, power points, electrical items, or office facilities.
- Perform basic troubleshooting where safe and appropriate.
- Coordinate with external technicians or contractors for repairs requiring certified personnel.
- Support the smooth operation of office facilities and equipment.
7. Electrical & Technical Coordination
- Assist in identifying basic electrical or technical issues.
- Report electrical problems to management immediately.
- Coordinate with qualified electricians for electrical repairs or major maintenance.
- Ensure electrical issues are handled safely and according to proper procedures.
8. General Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Prepare regular reports on IT issues, asset status, maintenance tasks, and completed works.
- Keep proper documentation for repairs, servicing, and vendor support.
- Assist management with technical-related tasks when required.
- Support other departments in operational and technical matters.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
