Position : Field IT Support Specialist
Salary : RM 3,000 - RM 4,000
Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong
Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri
Job Summary
The Field IT Support Specialist provides onsite and remote support for hardware installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance at client sites. This role ensures smooth POS operations and timely resolution of technical issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, deliver, and install POS hardware and systems at client locations.
- Provide onsite or remote support to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with customer data or image implementations as required.
- Monitor, respond to, and resolve tasks through the ticketing system.
- Coordinate with internal teams and escalate issues when necessary.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Own transport; GDL license is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel outstation when required.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.
- Proactive, able to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
Education:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)
Experience:
- IT support: 1 year (Preferred)
- Troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)
