This role will be providing proactive support in executing procurement activities, ensuring seamless operations and efficiency across the functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the full spectrum of procurement activities, including sourcing and purchasing.
- Request and evaluate quotations, prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) for materials and consumables.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and update the Master Planner / Production Planning Control team on material availability and delivery status.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Liaise with internal departments on demand planning and inventory management.
- Work closely with the Finance team to ensure procurement activities are align with project cash flow and requirements.
- Manage suppliers’ performance and negotiate pricing, contract terms, and product quality.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure specifications meet requirements and comply with client standards.
- Support procurement planning to ensure product quality and prompt delivery timelines.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields.
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
