Shin Yang Building Product Sdn. Bhd., established in 1993 in Malaysia, manufactures a wide range of processed wood and multi-plywood products. As part of the Shin Yang Group, we offer high-tech engineered plywood, including hardwood, concrete form, marine, film-faced, and bending plywood. We also provide renovation and electrical contractor services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents, and cost estimates.
• Handle tender submissions, quotation comparisons, and contractor evaluation.
• Monitor project budgets, cost control, and project expenses.
• Prepare progress claims, interim valuations, and final accounts.
• Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Prepare variation orders and assess project cost impact.
• Conduct site visits to verify work progress and measurements.
• Prepare cost reports and project financial updates.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 1–3 years working experience in construction/industrial projects (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Strong knowledge of costing, estimation, tendering, and contract management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QS-related software (if any).
• Good communication skills and able to work independently.
• Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
• Willing to travel / attend site visits when required.
