Shin Yang Building Product Sdn. Bhd., established in 1993 in Malaysia, manufactures a wide range of processed wood and multi-plywood products. As part of the Shin Yang Group, we offer high-tech engineered plywood, including hardwood, concrete form, marine, film-faced, and bending plywood. We also provide renovation and electrical contractor services.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts (AP/AR/GL) and daily accounting transactions.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in management reporting.
- Assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
- Assist with tax-related matters such as SST, EPF, SOCSO, and payroll (if required).
- Support other finance and administrative duties when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- At least 1–2 years accounting experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Knowledge in accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SQL / UBS / AutoCount or similar is an advantage).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and able to work independently.
