Smartnexora is hosting an after-school coding club, designed for children aged 5 and above, providing them with the opportunity to gather and develop critical digital skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM). Through a dynamic curriculum, the club enables young learners to explore and master essential digital skills through various disciplines.

The role of the Educator / Instructor is pivotal in delivering engaging and effective coding instruction to children. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for both computer science and education, with a keen focus on supporting and nurturing young minds as they develop digital skills. As part of the team, the Educator / Instructor will collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure each child experiences a positive and enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement digital curriculum tailored to the learning needs of children.
• Facilitate hands-on in digital learning sessions, workshops, and projects that encourage creativity and problem-solving.
• Assess and monitor each child’s progress, providing tailored feedback and support to ensure their individual growth.
• Collaborate with other instructor and staff to create a cohesive and dynamic learning environment.
• Stay updated on the latest coding tools, trends, and best practices in children education.
• Organise and participate in coding events, competitions, and showcases.

What we're looking for

• Well-spoken and professionally presentable as an educator.
• Experience engaging with children in formal settings is an added advantage.
• Candidates with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Computer Science are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledgeable in computer technology, mathematics, and science.
• Eagerness to learn and grow independently in technology (training and guidance will be provided).
• Willingness to travel within Johor Bahru and surrounding areas for off-site coaching.
• Passionate about education and working with children.
• Demonstrates proactive self-management and initiative.
• Punctual, responsible, and reliable.
• Ability to speak additional local languages is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
