Position : Software Specialist

Salary : RM 3,000 - RM 4,500

Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Software Specialist to design, customize, and support software solutions that meet customer requirements and business needs. This role works closely with customers, Application Support, and R&D teams to deliver system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions based on customer requirements and business needs
• Engage with customers to discuss new features, enhancements, and customization requests
• Prepare technical documentation, customization specifications, and related system documentation
• Develop and maintain test data and support testing activities for new system releases and updates
• Participate in product demonstrations and solution presentations for new and existing customers
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve testing processes and operational efficiency
• Work closely with the R&D team to support system enhancements, customizations, and bug resolution
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting, and data amendments when required
• Support ad-hoc technical tasks and projects assigned by management

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in software development, testing, or support
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
• Experience in software testing and executing test scenarios
• Knowledge of SQL and software testing processes
• Good communication and collaboration skills with customers and cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with ISO compliance standards, web servers, or virtual machine environments is an advantage
• Able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
