About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Testing Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join our Operation & Maintenance (O&M) team in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will be involved in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure optimal plant performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Basic knowledge in testing & commissioning of electrical systems Familiar with LV/MV systems, protection relays, and electrical drawings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willing to travel to project sites if required

Key Responsibilities :

• Support electrical testing & commissioning for LV/MV systems, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems
• Assist in preparing test plans, procedures, and reports (ITP, method statements)
• Perform routine tests (IR, continuity, earth resistance, functional checks) and record data
• Analyze test results and report abnormalities or faults
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations (IEC/MS/IEEE)
• Maintain accurate documentation and test records
• Support calibration and upkeep of testing equipment Work closely with engineers, technicians, and project teams

Added Advantage:

• Experience in renewable energy (solar, wind, etc.)
• Knowledge of TNB requirements and local regulations
• Hands-on experience with testing equipment
