• Responsibilities
• Responsible for all aspects of work relating to field sampling and laboratory analysis in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety practices
• Responsible in laboratory/factory instrument operability and accuracy
• Responsible in all chemicals used in laboratory/factory and identify the safety hazards in handling
• Responsible in developing testing method and procedure
• Responsible in training the laboratory technicians for all laboratory analysis
• Responsible in material handling to ensure compliance of statutory compliance
• Responsible in internal quality control
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time

• Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Forensic science, Physicochemistry or equivalent
• Registered Chemist with at least 2 year(s) of working experience in related field
• Show good analytical skill, able to communicate effectively
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of ISO procedures & documentation is an advantage
