Responsible for all aspects of work relating to field sampling and laboratory analysis in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety practices
Responsible in laboratory/factory instrument operability and accuracy
Responsible in all chemicals used in laboratory/factory and identify the safety hazards in handling
Responsible in developing testing method and procedure
Responsible in training the laboratory technicians for all laboratory analysis
Responsible in material handling to ensure compliance of statutory compliance
Responsible in internal quality control
To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Forensic science, Physicochemistry or equivalent
Registered Chemist with at least 2 year(s) of working experience in related field
Show good analytical skill, able to communicate effectively
Computer literate
Knowledge of ISO procedures & documentation is an advantage
